The Es Behind PupEase

The Es Behind PupEase

When I started my business, I knew that I wanted to incorporate my three dogs into the logo.  I was trying hard to find something that helped convey that I want to help pets and owners live a happier, healthier, and overall easier life together where ever possible.  As I bounced various names around, from “TriplE” to “3E,” my dad came up with a “PupEs” dad joke.  It was my sister who said we could change from the Es to “Ease,” and I fell in love with the new name!

Without further ado, here are the Es behind PupEase:

Einstein (Ein), Elphaba (Elphi), and Ender are my three personal pups.

Ender

Ender:
DOB:  11/12/11 (estimated)
Adopted from:  Bedford County Animal Control

Ender is half Corgi, half Australian Cattle Dog (ACD).  This combo is called a “Cowboy Corgi,” apparently, and we think that is one of the cutest things in the world.  He’s 100% a velcro dog, a big ol’ momma’s boy, vocal, sassy, smart, and in charge of his siblings (when Elphi lets him be).

Elphi

Elphi:
DOB: 08/17/13 (estimated)
Adopted from: Gordon County Animal Control

When we adopted Elphi, the best guess anyone had at her breed was half Corgi, half Chihuahua.  Whatever she is, she’s super independent and sassy. At first, she was pretty distant, but now she’s one of the sweetest pups.  We’ve worked a lot with socialization with her, and she’s grown way more than we could have hoped for.

Ein

Ein:
DOB:  10/09/16 (exact)
Adopted from: Barren River Animal Welfare Association

Ein was born at the pound, so we know his actual birth date.  We have had him since he was 8 weeks old, and he has been so much fun to watch grow.  We were certainly surprised at how big he has gotten compared to his siblings. He’s a sweet, shy, gentle, ‘fraidy pup.  It turns out that he’s a momma’s boy, too.
